What is Applied Kinesiology? How can it help you?

Applied Kinesiology is a method of nervous system analysis that finds the underlying cause of functional health problems

Applied Kinesiology (AK) has been evolving as a diagnostic aid to assist in the assessment and treatment of health problems since its discovery in 1965. The basis of AK is using very specific manual muscle tests to assess the integrity of the nervous system. When a dysfunctional muscle or group of muscles is found, diagnostic challenges to the nervous system are used to determine which treatment will restore normal function to those impaired muscles.  Since many of the body's imbalances result in impaired muscle function, AK is used as a diagnositic guide in the treatment of all systems of the body.

By naturally aiding the body in restoring normal function, many health problems are resolved rather quickly. The body has an innate healing capacity that sometimes needs assistance in acheiving its ability in maintaining balance. AK is used to locate and remove the imbalances that are preventing the body from getting well. AK incorporates chiropractic, acupuncture, nutrition, herbs, myofascial work and many other techniques from many other disciplines to bring about the best personalized treatment for your specific problem.
